Experiments in Guncad

DEFCAD Highlights Exciting developments in .22LR One of the major benefits of 3D printing as a primary medium of development is the incredible variety and experimentation possible over even a small caliber range. Over the past few weeks DEFCAD has become host to many experiments in .22LR. The Cheap Little Badger is the first our list, which itself is a way of ghosting the simple and reliable break-action single shot Cheap Little Badger. We follow this with the MP22 collection, which takes obvious design cues from the H&K MP series while being packaged in PDW and Carbine variants. Next, we have the X022LR, which is a mostly printable version of the ultra-slim single shot wallet sized derringer. And finally, the Humphrey Drum Revolver is really where the experimentation process shines: A full rotating drum revolver and open recoil spring assembly achieves a unique, space-age look for this space. video The Firearm's Blog TV Explores the G0 TFB's newly released video covers the Ghost Gunner release with Cody Wilson and previews test firing of: The G0. Because it is not a regulaed frame or receiver, you may freely download models of the G0 grip module right here on DEFCAD and be sure to head over to Ghost Gunner to pick up your own GG3-S. guncad development Classic blueprints DEFCAD is host to an incredible number of direct to print firearm's models but we alos pride ourselves in gathering and sorting various other forms of technical and manufacturing information. While it is incredibly useful to have the early blueprints from the history of DIY arms it is something else entirely to have detailed classic dimensional prints for such designs as the Browning Hi-Power, M4 Survival Rifle or PPsH41. Keep an eye-out in future newsletters for progress on what resources are being brought to bear to help out with development. |
