VPNVG-4 LITE

This is a redesign of my VPNVG-4 with an extremely smaller profile and much thinner walls.

I have not yet printed this file as i literally just finished designing it.

I recommend you use max walls at .16 layer height for this as the walls are very thin in some areas.

i posted some videos on tiktok showing how they look on the inside and how to wire them

What to print

  • 4X Sensor cap
  • 4X Body
  • 4X Lens retainer
  • 4X locking plate
  • 2X Buffer
  • 1X Bridge

Optionally if you dont want to spend $50-100 on a PVS-14 mount you can Print of the janky homemade one that is actually just two go pro mounts connected with some bars

Standards
Materials Needed
  • ($30) 4X Runcam pheonix 2 FPV cameras (optionally the OSD controllor which lets you adjust settings in the cameras you only need 1)
  • ($40) 4X Adafruit 2"tft NTSC displays. Do not cheap out and but the SPI displays on amazon they will not work with the FPV cameras i tried lol
  • ($10) 4X 50mm focal length lenses A pack of XT30 connectors and some wire/solder kit
  • Various small bolts i bought a cheap set on amazon. this design uses M3x16 M4x16 and M5x16 (you will need nuts for the M5)

This design allows for 5MM IR leds to be put in the cap i have yet to figure out how to make them work but will keep you posted if i figure it out.
