Hybrid Round Tube SMG
about
A ‘STEN’ type 9mm submachine gun which fires from an open-bolt and uses 1.5” x 0.065 (38.1mm x 1.6mm) Steel Round Tube combined with a Glock magazine accepting 3D printed lower Receiver. The bolt is fabricated from steel bar stock (Using an angle grinder and a drill) and uses a recoil spring found inside a lever type grease applicator gun. The barrel can either be turned as a single piece on a lathe or assembled from shaft lock collars and steel tubing.
The materials used in this version are more widely available and the gun will have a lower Rate Of Fire.
