VPNVG-4

I created this off of my own measurements with tight tolerances and an aggressive styling. I will continue to work on this until i have the full quad nods out and maybe some adaptions for different size screens etc. For NOW the VPNVG monocle is compatible with the BPNVG mounting hardware and all its parts. But soon i will slimming the VP down and creating a better mounting system.

Parts I Used

  • Runcam pheonix 2 (You should also get a phoenix 2 controller board to set the proper camera settings, you will only need one contoller)
  • Adafruit 2" screen. be sure you by a NTSC screen NOT an SPI!!! ADAfruit is pretty much the only supplier for these screens. the 2" are becoming a hard to aquire commadety so be on the the look out for a VPNVG+ ;)
  • FPV 7.4v Lipo battery pack and charger (i bought some cheap one on amazon)
  • depending on your battery you will need various electrical connections. ( I used solder/shrinktube) i plan on integrating an XT30 plug on the side if you have suggestions for a power plug let me know

Im not really a techy kind of person so i probably wont make a youtube tutorial on this sorry :(
