"Brooklyn Blues" Push Dagger: Laffs Dynamics
First design in the NY Boroughs Project. (See Notes)
Offset serrated blade with an unsharpened spine. It may not kill them, but pulling the blade out and sawing their flesh will leave a permanent reminder of their actions.
Walking the streets of Brooklyn made me realize the city of lights in the distance only blinds people from their own misery.
Printer Used: Ender 3 V2
Filament Used: PLA+
Print Settings:
Extruder: 218C
Bed: 56C
First Layer Print Height: .20mm
Standard Layer Height: .10mm - .12mm
Wall Thickness: .40
Wall Perimeters: 8+
Infill: 50%+
Notes:
1) The project materialized after thinking about the state's policies, and how not only do they leave innocent people defenseless, but that they drove me from my home. Not only are 3DP weapons illegal, but getting a handgun in said state is a pain in the ass. To be honest, getting ANYTHING in that state is a pain, and the police will confiscate your tools for defense even if they're still legal. (Source: They did it to me.)
In NYC specifically, it's near impossible to own a pistol, as they have seperate laws from the greater NY state. As such, seems fitting I design 3DP push daggers; a design named for each borough. (The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.)
They can't keep people from affordable defense. It may not be as effective as a handgun, but it's better than bare fists.
2) Due to this specific push dagger's slim design, it's HIGHLY recommended to print with at LEAST 8+ walls for best durability within it's intended design parameters.
