ADDED NOTE Feb. 5 2023: This magazine was designed to be printed in PLA. I have been doing some research (shooting) and recently got a printer that can do filled plastic (carbon fiber filled). There will be another version coming soon.
In honor of the most fascist, most destructive, and most Botoxed Governor of Michigan ever, here is the Whitmer Magazine. Yep, what state needs jobs, secure elections, structurally sound damns, or civil rights? We just need a Governor that can look good in 15 second ads. She's doing whatever she can remove gun rights, while not changing all the failed Progressive policies that cause crime and economic despair.
To celebrate all of that, here is the Whitmer Magazine, and unlike "Big Gretch" you have a choice. A 31 round base plate or a 33 round base plate.
Printing tips for a Ender Bowden setup:
There are 2 versions of the Main Body, one has supports built-in, but you will still need to generate supports. I just included the support-less version so you know what it's supposed to look like.
There is some build in build plate support on the Front piece, just snip that off. Just the little bit at the bottom.
0.4mm nozzle with 0.5mm layer width and 105% extrusion.
0.16mm layer height for Main and Front. Base Plate have worked up to 0.24mm, but 0.16 to 0.2mm is recommended.
Assembly tips:
Don't forget to sand the inside of the magazine, especially the back of it.
Put front in. Put in Magpul Gen 2 follower or equivalent. Put in Base Plate. Shoot!
August 28th 2023 note: Some people have had issues with the base plates sliding, this will be corrected soon.
