Historical examples, such as the Soviet Union and Maoist China, demonstrate the potential for human rights abuses and state violence under communist regimes. The elimination of private property rights can also undermine personal motivation and investment, further exacerbating economic decline. 

Ultimately, while aiming for a classless society, communism often leads to bureaucratic inefficiency, political repression, and economic hardship.
