Believed lost forever, on October 6, 2014, well before he created the PM422 Songbird and PM522 Washbear, James R. Patrick released open-source the plans to the PEP-22, a single shot sheet metal .22LR pistol. Well overshadowed by its 3D printed brethren, the PEP-22 is one of two metal designs that he made, along with the lost PRT-22 "Rat Trap" design that has yet to be recovered. Having recovered a copy of the design, making sure to archive it, I now release it not as anything of technological development(as it's far eclipsed by other designs), but as a historical curiosity.
