This is a Ar-15 lower that was designed to be printed on an Ender 5 Plus. However you can print the main body in two pieces and glue them together. I have included pre-cut files for the Ender 3 and Bambu Labs build sizes, and a Glue Stick to help the assembly process.

Design constraints:

1. The design can only fit skinny foregrips this is a product of front takedown pin reinforcment.

2. There is no buffer detent. You have to assemble it like a Honey Badger, so three hands will help.

3. The saftey install is a bit tricky, like the KP-15 lower, however this design allows for standard safties.

Hardware required:

qty

1 spacer 5mm thick ( the buffer tube is 5mm long so a 5 mm spacer is required to prevent the top of the BCG from smashing into the buffer tube)

21 M3x0.5mm 20mm (long) Socket head screws McMaster 91292A123

21 M3x0.5mm Hex Nut McMaster 91828A211

1 M8 x 20mm Socket head screw 6mm Hex driver

1 M8 nut (should be 1/2" across)

1 1/4" Diameter 1-1/4" Useable length Flat-Head Quick-Release Pin McMaster 90156A263

1 1/4" Diameter 1-1/2" Useable length Flat-Head Quick-Release Pin McMaster 90156A508

2 KE-Arms KP-15 Hammer Pins

1 KE-Arms Saftey Detent (or you can file off the bottom of a standard saftey)

1 KE-Arms Saftey Selector (a standard one can be used but when removing the Selector, the Socket head screw in the grip must be removed first)

1 Standard bolt release hardware

1 Standard magazine catch hardware

1 trigger

1 buffer spring + buffer

Printing that worked for me

0.16 layer heights.

0.32 support spacing Z-heights

PLA+

3mm of wall

0.5mm Line width with 0.4 nozzle

20% infill

Note: the Brace can be printed with thinner walls and a taller layer height

Version: StormBlooper 2.0 (Betsy Russell on Horseback edition) latest
Welcome to 2023 and the Stormblooper that you know and love has gone on a diet.
The screws holding the Buffer Buddy (Buffer tube) on have been angled that allowed the backside to be skinnier.
Material has been taken out in the mag catch pin area. This was for easier installation of the roll pin.
The slight "undercut" in the magwell was removed.
I included a tool that "helps" to assemble the the selector knob.
A more comfortable trigger guard was styled and profiled.
