With Safety:
Features a safety tab that must be depressed before the blade can deploy. This version requires two hands to unlock.
No Safety:
Knife simply clicks open or close with use of one hand.
Compatible blades:
- Stanley 1992
- Irwin Bimetal Blades
Caution:
While suprisingly robust, this is designed for light to medium use only. Heavy use/pressure may cause the knife to break and injury to occur as a result. It is also likely that the blade can be exposed due to improper closing, breakage, or excessive wear, so as a rule of thumb, do not store in hard to see areas like bags, pockets, etc. Always replace broken, worn, or dirty components.
