A simple, 2 part pad that replaces the original hunk of plastic that comes on the vintage furniture that looks iconic, but otherwise is uncomfortable to use sometimes. For taller shooters like myself, the 1" extension comapred to the original helps with getting a proper cheek weld and distances my eye from the rear sight, making it more comfortable and accurate to shoot. Print the clip in a flexible filament like ABS or PETG with 6-8 walls, and I used a 98A TPU for the pad itself with 4 walls and a 20% cubic subdivision infill. This leads to a durable part, while still absorbing far more recoil than the original. Experiment with different infills and wall thicknesses to get your ideal rigidity. Use epoxy or CA glue to glue the clip into the pad, and you're done.
