The first of PotatoSociety’s “Fire” series, the Ghostfire is a printable AR-15 lower designed to be a bolt-together lower, similar to the earlier RollaTroll Bolt Lower Receiver, printable in PLA. It is assembled using standard hardware store bolts and screws. The buffer tower is reinforced with two screw-on struts.
The Ghostfire was designed with the explicit intent of making a widely available AR-15 lower, and is dedicated by PotatoSociety with a loving “fuck you” to the Chinese Communist Party. Its bolt-together design allows each individual piece to be stealthily printed in restrictive environments, perhaps inspiring its name “Ghost.”
The Ghostfire’s design has been superseded by later entries in the Anderson “Fire” series, such as the Wildfire or Hellfire, and as such you likely will be better served printing these.
