The IDBW is a straight pull bolt action M26 alternative that is not regulated in the same way.

The C-MORE M26 MASS (yes it is made by the same C-more we know and love manufacturer of the popular red dot sight) is a 12 gauge short barrel shotgun, or AOW that can be mounted to an M4 carbine or used as a standalone weapon platform. There is no configuration in which it can be mounted to your AR at home without a taxable event occurring.

Now an alternative is available. The IDBW uses a 50 Beowulf or generic 12.7 AR15 bolt and barrel on a straight pull manual bolt carrier that is printable. By reducing the bore from 12 gauge to 1/2 inch the IDBW is now legally considered a pistol and can have the short barrel or be concealed in the standalone configuration. When mounted to an AR15 pistol 26" in overall length that is not equipped with a stock, the IDBW does not become an SBR or AOW. The end result is two pistols combined into a firearm with VFG configuration legal in most US states.

The IDBW uses some standard AR15 internal parts and a similar layout, however the recievers are proprietary and shorter than a standard AR15 reciever.

The IDBW is intended to be used with reloaded 50 beowulf cases loaded with shotgun projectiles and components. The action will handle full power 50 beowulf ammunition but the recoil impulse for such a light gun may damage the frame of a firearm it is mounted to. The IDBW is intended to be an anti material tool capable of destroying padlocks, door latch mechanisms and hinges, as well as any offending electronic devices or containers. Ensure proper care is taken when assembling ammunition. Be wary of the danger and risks of shooting any material in close proximity and ensure proper protective equippment is used.
