Apperently my content is getting to spicy for youtube. I have the video back up on Odysee
https://odysee.com/@SmallTeamSupply:6/next-gen-3d-printed-lower-odysee:3
This 3d printable AR-15 lower bridges the common failure point (through the rear take down pin) by using #10 5" wood deck screws to distribute the load/shock around it.
These lowers have passed a rigorous 3 day field training exercise using the M.I.L.E.S. engagement system at the One Shepherd Leadership Instutue, as well as square range testing; malfunction clearing via mortering and firing ball ammunition.
Recommended filament: Taulman3d PCTPE with plently of brim and supports to keep it from warping and peeling off the build plate. Print at 243C, slowly and be sure to use glue to hold it down. If you are using a magnetic build plate be sure to clip it down near the print. This stuff must be dryed throughly before using it, throw it in a filament dryer at 65C for atleast 3 days before printing with it and keep it in there while using it.
Recommended Print Orientation: 45 Deg
Additonal parts required:
Qty 2) #10 5" wood deck screws
Qty 1) #6 1" wood screw
Qty 1) Threaded insert - E-Z LOK HI-428-WH
Small Team Supply fixed stock or endplate is also needed to complete
Note: Most holes will need to be chased by using common size drill bits but a long 1/8" drill bit may be needed for chasing the rear take down pin detent pin hole.
