The DefDist AR-15 lower receiver is the first printable AR-15 lower receiver design introduced into the public domain. This is Defense Distributed's first printable release, prior to the Liberator.
The final version, the v5, was used as the base for several other FOSSCAD designs in the early days of guncad.
