A drawing, made years back, of a design for a .22 Short Lighter Gun. This drawing is to scale on 1/4in square graph paper, which should allow for rough dimensioning should someone desire to convert this to a CAD. In the 1970s, the lighter gun was a very common "zip gun," as smoking was still very en vogue at the time and personal rather than disposable lighters were a common sight, allowing easy concealment. The downside of lighter guns is their often meager or pathetic caliber - 6mm Flobert/.22CB or .22 Short are often the only calibers that can really be used in such a weapon due to size, neither of which are effective self defense calibers. In theory, the gun could be an effective assassination weapon, but such is unlikely in today's world.
