SBT Evo Brace Shims (CZ Scorpion Evo 3): Laffs Dynamics
A set of three shims to fit between SB Tactical stabilizing braces for CZ Scorpion Evo pistols/PCCs.
It's a known issue for brace users of Scorpion Evo IIIs that the SB Tactical designs often have a bit of wobble/play between the claw mount interface and the rear of the firearm's receiver. The stated reason from the company is that CZ has over time manufactured CZ Scorpion Evo IIIs with slight variances in dimensions. There's another company that makes metal fabricated shims specifically for this design flaw in SB Tactical braces for Evos.
(Frankly, this designer thinks they could've just made the brace mount section slightly thicker, or at least package the brace with some cheap plastic shims themselves; I shouldn't have to pay $120 for a brace that wobbles... pricks.)
Three shim thicknesses are available:
*.3mm
*.4mm
*.5mm
The thicknesses of each shim are shown with square indicators; three squares for .3mm thickness, 4 squares for .4mm thickness, and 5 squares for .5mm thickness. (Work with me here, I'm tryna make sure the dumbies on reddit can't screw this up.)
Printer Used: Ender 3 V2
Filament Used: PLA+
Print Settings:
Extruder: 218C
Bed: 56C
First Layer Print Height: .2mm
Standard Layer Height: .12mm
Wall Thickness: .40
Wall Perimeters: 3+
Infill: 25%
Infill Pattern: Gyroid
Material Flow: 100%
Print the grip upside-down.
Note: My Ender 3 V2 printer would not display the gcode files due to the decimal point in the thickness designation file names. (Ex. .3mm Shim.gcode or .5mm Shim.gcode) To fix the error should your machine present it; simply remove the first decimal point and reload the microSD card back into the machine. (Ex. instead of .3mm Shim.gcode, change it to 3mm Shim.gcode.)
