HG-1 (AKM): Laffs Dynamics
First Laffs Dynamics handguard design for the AKM weapon platform.
Filament Recommended: Nylon, Carbon Fiber Nylon, Glass Filled Nylon.
Print Settings:
First Layer Print Height: .2mm
Standard Layer Height: .16
Wall Thickness: .40
Wall Perimeters: 7+
Infill: 80%+
Support Material Percentage: 20%
Hardware:
1x M4x10 Set Screw (Optional)
Notes:
1) For the love of fuck, just don't make me have to come through the monitor to slap you if you try printing this in something
like PLA+. The barrel gets hot as Satan's balls underneath the handguard. If you don't print it in something heat resistant like
glass filled nylon, don't cry about it later when after only a mag or two, your handguard turns to melted mush.
2) Should the pivot slightly up and down whilst locked into the front handguard retainer, install the set screw through the bottom
of the picatinny rail, up against the bottom of the retainer. Do not overtighten. Just drive it until it makes contact with the retainer,
and the handguard no longer moves.
