If you need an improvised sound suppressor but in a more compact form, this is exactly what you've been looking for. Thread profiles have been overlapped to give all the engagement of the previous design in the smallest package.
Designed for 1/2"x28 TPI barrels.
Threaded for most commonly available oil filters at 3/4"x14 TPI.
Flat sides for easy attachment at 20mm

Back by popular demand, I present a revised compact oil filter adapter. This version features a new mounting pattern for easy install/removal. Previous version used flat faces for wrench attachment, this makes it even easier with a textured surface to hand/glove/plier tighten it to the barrel. Other features remain the same for all the oil can plinking you have been enjoying!
-Textured attachment surface replaces whrench flats
-1/2"x28TPI internal thread for most small caliber barrels
-3/4"x16TPI external thread for most common oil filters.
-OAL of only 20mm, Diameter of 21mm

Update includes:
-Opening increased from 10mm to 11mm for greater clearance
-Threaded portion length contained to 1/2" for both internal and external portions to avoid excess
-Collar length increased for higher strength
