Picatinny Mount CAD Template V1.1.2 (5mm Bolt)

about

Picatinny Mount CAD Template V1.1.2: FFFTech/FFFTechnology

STL and STEP files of an accessory mount template that attaches to 1913 Picatinny rails. I
designed this model myself for developing accessories for modern carbines and the like.

These files are intended to aid in firearm accessory design. Whilst they can be 3D printed,
they're mainly meant to be used in CAD software such as Fusion 360.

Update V1.1.2: Enlarged picatinny rail channel for better fitment, organized files to current 3FTech data pack format, changed print settings for the common used Ender 3 3D printers.

Printer Used: Ender 3 V2

Filament Used: PLA+

Print Settings:

Extruder: 218C
Bed: 56C
First Layer Print Height: .20mm
Standard Layer Height: .16mm
Wall Thickness: .40
Wall Perimeters: 3
Infill: 20%
Infill Pattern: Gyroid
Material Flow: 100%

Hardware Needed:

1x M5x30 Hex Socketed Machine Screw/Bolt

1x M5 Hex Nut (Be sure both bolt & nut are the same thread pitch.)

Accreditations:

Internetpizza: Aided in testing fitment between picatinny rail and the mount template. Gave data on fitment errors with previous designs, that led to a mass update of most previous design releases, as well as this template.
