The S96S Gen II is a re-release of the original that includes reinforced parts, as well as several design changes for easier printing and assembly. The Gen II contains alternate parts that make it convertible to a pintle mounted weapon.
The S96S is primarily intended to be made in .223/5.56 and use standard stanag pattern AR15 magazines, however it can be made in most calibers that the AR15 platform supports.
