The PPX-16 by nguyenkvvn. The Perun X-16 is a peculiar firearm. It is a platform featuring a captured bolt system, making use of many standard AR-15 parts. (Such as the barrel, bolt head, lower receiver and respective parts, etc.) What sets it apart is its modularity and room for customization.The PPX-16 (Printed Perun X-16) is based off the lower receiver from AR-15 Technical Data Package (from The Gatalog / Deterrence Dispensed). I chose this as a baseline, as it was as true to a real AR-15’s geometry as possible. While no geometry was used or referenced from Hoffman Tactical, I do want to recognize him for the idea of a reinforced separate printed takedown geometry. Thank you to Alex from AEA Arms for providing an upper receiver builder’s set to facilitate this release (and future oddities featuring this platform).
