This is a remix of the Galileo R2 by DB Firearms USA.

A few changes have been made to his design, these include:

 - how the upper and lower attach

 - dimensions for how the upper mounts to the barrel

 - new barrel nut

 - different print orientations

 - different parts

This was designed to allow for easier flat printing on build plates, to be lighter weight and smaller overall, and to clean up some tolerances to make my life easier when building these.

As well, this design includes some mock / reference cad for the Ruger BX-25 magazine. It's not printable / functional, but it's a correct exterior sizing in case anyone is interested in getting started on tackling making one of these printable.

Since this is just a 22, print orientations aren't nearly as critical, so do what fits and feels right. That said, please be sure to still use 8 walls and 100% infill, and PLA+ or stronger. It's still a gun, don't be an idiot.

1 - M3 Smooth Rod, cut to 20mm (a front or rear glock rail pin will usually work - in a pinch you could just cut the head off a SHCS)

Rifle assembly instructions:

1) position your handguard onto your barrel (loose)

2) position your barrel nut onto your barrel behind the handguard (loose)

3) put cups on each side of the base of the barrel

4) place m4 hex nut into barrel cavity

5) insert cups and barrel into the upper receiver

6) screw barrel nut on (hand tight is plenty tbh, don't go crazy, it's a 22)

7) place m3 smooth rod into upper hole above barrel

8) slide handguard onto barrel nut + m3 smooth rod

9) clamp barrel into place with M4-30 SHCS and M4 Hex Nut

10) insert charging handle, pull charging handle back

11) insert bolt into charging handle inside of upper, let go and make sure the bolt travels back and forth nicely

12) insert printed buffer into side hole to make sure bolt can't come out

13) put ruger pings into trigger group and press the trigger group into the lower from the top down (should kinda click in)

14) bolt the front of the lower onto the front of the upper with the M4-20 SHCS

15) bolt rear of upper and lower together using M5-30 SHCS and M5 hex nut

16) attach pistol grip with M5-25 SHCS and M5 hex nut
